I am always happy to help my customers find exactly the right textiles for their homes. I have spent many enjoyable hours designing curtains and other soft furnishings for homes all over the World. So I was delighted to be asked to choose some beautiful bedlinen for Comtesse Lili, a francophile with impeccable taste, currently living in California.
The brief was complicated. The Comtesse communicated through her maid Jacqueline who had precise instructions. The Comtesse loves beautiful embroidery, but nothing too delicate. This linen was to be used, it had to be comfortable and strong as well as beautiful. Many emails and photographs were exchanged and finally a precious parcel was shipped from France. Comtesse Lili can finally sleep in the luxury she desired.
