I love New Year celebrations and preparations, a time to take stock of what happened in 2011 and make plans for 2012. It is also the end of the financial year in France so time for proper stocktaking and getting the accounts in order. By way of easing myself into the task gently I decided to tackle that most important tasks first!

I made plans to develop the business in 2011 and it has gone well, but I could never have predicted the amount of customers that I would 'meet' who share the same passions! The blog was another pleasant surprise that seems to have touched a lot of people who email me with their own stories and photographs. It has been an unexpectedly wonderful experience. I think a sensible resolution for 2012 would be to try and get the 'comments' section working on the blog!
I'm still working on my resolutions (I take them very seriously!) but
have taken the first steps for one of them. It starts like
this...........
But has absolutely nothing to do with food!
