A feast for your eyes!

Deliciously detailed still life photographs by Paulette Tavormina.
I love still lives, creating little vignettes with the wonderful produce that I buy to cook for my guests. I think the ever changing arrangements keep the house 'alive' and vibrant.
I am always looking for inspiration and when I found these I was blown away.

I contacted Paulette to ask for her permission to use these photographs on my blog and she was wonderfully kind and helpful. She has her own website where you can see more of her work.
Here is a link http://www.tavorminaphotography.com/ where you can enjoy even more of her work.
She also exhibits at the Robert Klein Gallery in Boston and you can order prints from them. I am going to save up for one, the only problem being how to decide which one!
I just love everything about them, the over ripe fruit with quirky shapes, the bugs, butterflies and insects, and the morning glory flowers above, spectacular and fragile blooms that unfurl and disappear in the same day.
They capture something transient and elusive.
Using modern technology to create something that immediately transports you back through history.
And the colours................................................
You can download the photographs from the website, I use them as 'wallpaper' on my computer desktop. That sounds incredibly mundane but it makes logging on a genuine pleasure.

I think the photographs speak for themselves, you can click on them to enlarge them or see even more on the website.

Enjoy!
