Three sheets to the wind?

No I haven't been drinking!
I lost three sheets that I bought several weeks ago when I was very busy with guests. When I came to list them I couldn't find them anywhere.

I tried the obvious places, then tried not thinking about to see if my subconscious would come up trumps...................it didn't.

It woke me up at night, just niggled away for ages. It seemed impossible that they could have gone missing. I even began to doubt buying them.

In the end I had to give up, it was driving me mad and there was nothing I could do about it (although there was still a little niggle).

Then yesterday as I was ironing I glanced at the cupboard right in front of me and there they were! Right in front of me all the time!

I blame the dealer I bought them from because he hadn't folded them in  the way that I do, so the monograms were hidden and I had stored them in the place I normally keep bits of textile that I am going to use for my sewing projects. Why I did that I shall probably never know.

So I am happy again.

And they are lovely sheets. Lots of embroidery, superb monograms and lovely details like the scallops at the hem.

I'm going to list them on Ebay straight away.
