Cosy!

I overslept this morning because the snow that had fallen overnight had wrapped the house in a thick soft insulating blanket that muffled sound. It looked stunning.

It has stopped work on the extension to the terrace, but the carpenter says that he will continue work on the new fencing sections in the warmth of his workshop.

 The last few weeks have been spent stacking logs, fitting snow tyres, stocking up with supplies and filling the freezer. I love that feeling of being cosy and snug inside while the winds howls outside and blows glittery snow crystals off the roofs.

I did lose my internet connection a couple of times today so please allow a bit of time for me to reply to any queries.
