One of the best things about what I do is the web of connections between customers, guests and friends who share the same passions.
Over the years I have exchanged emails and a couple of phone calls with one of my first ever customers. This year she came to stay at "La Jovienne", so we had chance to spend ages chatting and getting to know each other better.
She comes from a family that was involved with fine linen production and has been immersed high quality textiles throughout her career. She has a wealth of knowledge and some fascinating stories to tell.
Now she has started her own business selling Irish linens online.
But she has brought vintage linens bang up to date by
dyeing them in mouthwatering colours.
